If the Churchill County Library does not own materials requested by a patron, Library staff will make a reasonable, good-faith effort to obtain them through the Nevada Library Cooperative or other resource-sharing institutions. Loan usage terms, periods, and renewals are determined by the lending library.

Materials that generally cannot be borrowed through interlibrary loan include:

• Materials wherein the cost to replace would be prohibitive to the lending library;

• New materials purchased within the last 6 months;

• Reference materials; and

• Special collections.
