Currently, a MakerBot and Ender3 are available for prints. Files in .stl format and ready to print can be emailed or brought in on physical storage media. If you email it, please fill out the 3D Print Request Form.

Drone Programming

The Library has a fleet of half-ounce drones available for learning basic programming and free-flight experiences. Inquire at the Circulation Desk.

Use the Tello app to control drones via local WiFi using your phone or tablet.

Virtual Reality

Hidden Cave is a cultural and scientific treasure located in our backyard. Thousands of years of human and natural history fill the interior of the cave, attracting multiple teams of archaeologists in the mid-twentieth century. Since the 1980s, Hidden Cave tours have brought thousands of people to visit the site. Visit Hidden Cave right at the Churchill County Museum, Churchill County Library, or Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Community Learning Center!

The Hidden Cave Virtual Reality experience, designed by UNR’s @One Digital Media Team, includes a tour of the cave, 3D artifacts you can pick up and handle, and audio information about the site.

This project was made possible in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
